Neighborhood Charm
Community, an established neighborhood and in-town proximity were the driving forces behind renovating this classic 1930s four square. The clients were careful to add only space that would enhance and improve their busy lives.
The creation of an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining area and great room made a
relatively small home seem spacious when entertaining or keeping track of
three active boys. The addition of a master suite on the second floor completed the necessary improvements, while the upstairs hallway turned into a unique common area for computer use.
The client's careful selection of surfaces, colors, moldings, and fixtures added greatly to a teamwork approach to handling design and budget requirements.
